Cycle - AudioVisual Performance

2022 / Moscow, Russia / generative audioreactive visuals, performance system
generativeperformanceaudioreactive

Real-time graphics react to music in this audiovisual performance. Created in collaboration with an ambient musician Pablo Bojko, it awed the audience at the Moscow Music School Festival 2022. Mesmerising abstract shapes and perfectly executed music synchronisation helped the artist to deliver his vision to life.

The performance was developed using TouchDesigner and Ableton Live, which were linked via a TDAbleton tool. OSC and MIDI protocols were used to transmit audio signals, allowing the real-time graphics to react to the music. The effects and transitions were controlled through a custom-built virtual user interface, adding an extra layer of control during the live performance.

Through the seamless integration of technology and music, this audiovisual performance delivered a truly immersive and captivating experience for the audience.
